We're Hiring | Osteopath in Sheffield
We’re on the lookout for someone who is passionate about providing a truly person-centred approach.
If you feel like this could be you, then we’d love to know more about you.
Why us?
We are currently recruiting a part time self-employed osteopath.
Helping people is what we’re all about, and that starts with you. Looking after our team is the most important aspect of having a happy successful clinic so if you fit in with our mission then we’ll do all we can to help you in the way you want to grow, and work in the way that best suits your lifestyle.
Below are some of the benefits our self-employed osteopaths currently enjoy.
Monthly Team Lunches
We all like to get out of the clinic once a month on company money to have lunch together and chat about whatever, but usually not work!
CPD
As a team we are constantly evolving and growing in the areas we find most interesting. We are looking for someone that wants to join us with this and is willing to share what they learn too.
Progression
At Bannerdale Osteopaths we provide our team with the opportunity and platform to grow and develop over the years they are with us. We believe in finding the right person then giving them a platform to practice so we learn from and with you and we all get better and grow.
Collaborative Team Approach
For us its about so much more than rubbing the bit that hurts and giving generic advice. We all benefit and get better by working as a team of like-minded therapists and sharing what we know.
One - to - One Catchups
Its tough doing this alone, and it’s tedious just treating maintenance patients every day, which is why we have regular catch-ups. Looking after our team is the most important aspect of having a happy successful clinic – if you are happy and supported, then so are our patients.
Flexible Work Hours
We all live different lives, so having a place to work that understands that and tries to fit around you means we get you at your best.
We're Hiring
What our clinic values:
Are you feeling frustrated, unsupported, lonely in your current practice?
Do you know there is a better way of doing things but need a better platform in which to do it effectively?
At Bannerdale Osteopaths we all try to help each other get the best for our patients and our mission is to bring evidence-informed person-centred care where the aim isn’t to keep patients coming indefinitely for maintenance sessions but build their self-efficacy so they don’t need us forever. If you like to work like this too, then we want to hear from you.
Person Centred Care
Do you have the ability to effectively provide person-centred care, with all of the soft skills this requires, in a way that gets lasting results? Are you able to help support patients in learning how to look after themselves rather than just aiming for endless maintenance appointments.
Search for Root Cause
Do you consider patients from a biopsychosocial viewpoint and help them understand this? Do you routinely search for the root cause of the issue and provide a diagnosis of ‘why and how’ in order to help them resolve the issue rather than just treating what is injured?
Evidence Informed Care
Do you work in a way that has a strong rationale so you can bring your patients with you on the journey of solving their longstanding issues?
What we expect from you:
Looking after our team is the most important aspect of having a happy successful clinic so if you fit in with our mission then we’ll do all we can to help you in the way you want to grow. We all try to help each other get the best for our patients and our mission is to bring evidence-informed person-centred care where the aim isn’t to keep patients coming indefinitely for maintenance sessions but build their self-efficacy so they don’t need us as soon as possible.
Palpable Kindness
In order for people to put their trust in you they need to feel that you care and have their best interests at heart. This needs to be palpable in the room.
No Ego
Helping people build self-efficacy means they credit themselves with most of the recovery rather than the therapist wanting to take all the credit. It means being able to both leave your own ego at the door and step back or equally step forward and give the hard truth when needed.
Continuous Learning
As a team we are constantly evolving and growing in the areas we find most interesting. We are looking for someone that wants to join us with this and is willing to share what they learn.
