Sheffield's Experienced Paediatric & Baby Osteopath | Tino Theodosiou

Sheffield's Trusted Paediatric & Baby Osteopath | Constantinos "Tino" Theodosiou

“Experiencing the benefits of osteopathy first-hand sparked an interest in understanding how the body works and inspired me to pursue a career in Osteopathy.”

Tino is our Paediatric Osteopath. He is passionate about making sure parents feel heard, striving to understand each baby’s individual needs and providing effective, gentle hands-on help alongside practical advice and support to parents. The goal is to leave parents with a toolkit of strategies, giving them the confidence to manage their baby’s condition themselves from home, no matter what life throws at them between appointments.

He incorporates gentle cranial osteopathic techniques alongside gentle massage and stretching techniques, always adapting his approach to each baby’s individual needs and comfort. He works with babies and their parents around concerns such as feeding difficulties, reflux, digestive discomfort, colic and plagiocephaly.

Tino also has a particular interest in helping people with persistent and recurring pain. His approach is evidence-informed, compassionate and patient-centred, combining expert hands-on treatment with education, movement, exercise and practical advice rather than just focusing on temporary symptom relief.

He believes that understanding why pain is happening and what can be done to improve it is an important part of recovery. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, his aim is to give patients the knowledge and confidence to take an active role in their health and get back to the activities that matter most.

My Story

“I was first introduced to osteopathy through my own experience of back pain. Despite leading an active lifestyle, I found myself dealing with persistent aches that other treatments had failed to resolve.

Experiencing the benefits of osteopathy first-hand sparked an interest in understanding how the body works and inspired me to pursue a career in Osteopathy.

My own background in climbing and other sports has also given me a personal appreciation of the physical demands of an active lifestyle and the challenges that injuries can create.

I enjoy helping people return to the activities that are important to them, whether that means getting back to sport, exercising comfortably or simply being able to move through everyday life with greater confidence.  During my practice I have developed a particular interest in paediatrics, completing a Diploma in Paediatric Osteopathy at the Osteopathic Centre for Children.”
